COVID-19 Guidelines
(Sara Sutton 13/03/2020)
The latest guidelines for MJFC players, coaches, parents & associates
With the recent announcement that both Premier League and EFL games are now suspended until at least April we thought it important to advise on the current state of play for grassroots football.
At the time of writing, there is no guidance to suspend grassroots games and as such it is business as usual at MJFC.
This is a very fluid situation and we are taking advise from Cheshire F.A and the leagues that our teams are playing in
We will continue to update team managers with the latest news and as and when required pass this information to our players, parents and families.
We think it is fair to assume that we are going to face some disruption in the coming days and weeks, obviously our priority is the health and wellbeing of our players, coaches and everyone connected with Macc Juniors F.C.
As such we would like to reiterate the governments advice
-If you have any signs or symptoms of Covid-19 please DO NOT attend training sessions or games for at least 14 days
-If you have recently returned from a high risk location please DO NOT attend training sessions or games for at least 14 days
-If any member of you immediate family is showing signs or symptoms please DO NOT attend training sessions or games for at least 7 days
It is also vital that we reiterate that anyone with an underlying medical condition like Asthma needs to carry their medication with them at all times when training or playing games.
NO MEDICATION, NO PLAY
We will endeavour to keep everyone updated with the latest news as quickly as we can.
Thank you
