U15 Teams SMS Results Service Trial
(Rick Standish 06/09/2019)
During the Moss Farm, Marbury and Vale Royal seeding leagues, the league will be trialling a new (to CGFL) result collection service for the U15 teams with a view to potentially rolling out the trial to the other divisions later in the season.
Participation is OPTIONAL for the SMS service however the return of Match Report Forms on matchday remains MANDATORY during the trial.
1) Returning Completed Match Day Forms (MANDATORY)
For all U15 teams, the league’s normal Match Report Form needs to be fully completed, photographed and returned via email to results@cg-fl.com by 6:30pm on the day of the Saturday fixture. The existing address cgfleague@outlook.com is also acceptable during the trial.
2) Taking part in the SMS trial (OPTIONAL) – If you participate in the trial then the results will be instantly updated on Full Time.
• All results are submitted by answering an automated text message sent from the FA Full-Time system.
• During each match, the Full-Time system will send an SMS Text Message to the first (and second team if applicable) contacts of the home and away team. (email rick.standish@mac.com to change who receives the email)
• Both teams need to reply to the text with the text in the following format “home team result - away team result and their team code”.
• Only send one match result per text but if you make a mistake just resend the text with the correct result.
• The system will ONLY accept texts from the phone numbers approved for each team
Example:
FA Full-Time Texts: HAL2 v HWF2 Sat 7 Sep 10:00 (where HAL2 and HWF2 are the team codes).
Reply with home and away score with the home team’s score first.
E.g. if the result is HAL2 (2) vs. HWF2 (6):
If you are team, HAL2 you text: 2-6 HAL2
If you are team, HWF2 you text: 2-6 HWF2
Team Codes for 2019/20 are as follows:
CZ15 - Chester Zebras
CT15 – Crosfield Tornadoes
FT15 – Frodsham Town
RB15 – Runcorn Linnets Blue
UJ15 - Upton Juniors
